‘The Advantages of Using Computers’

♥Advantages:You can surf at the web.A good help on your researches.Having a good time playing online games.
the advantages of computers are making the man's work easier like for us students it help us a lot in projects,it can research works, paper works, and assignments. also help us by making communication easier by having such as sites like yahoo messenger, yahoo mail, friendster, facebook, twitter. it also updates us in global news.

Speed
♥ is the rate of motion, or equivalently the rate of change of distance.Speed is a scalar quantity with dimensions length/time; the equivalent vector quantity to speed is velocity.
♥ Speed is measured in the same physical units of measurement as velocity, but does not contain the element of direction that velocity has. Speed is thus the magnitude component of velocity. Therefore, speed is always positive.

Reliability
♥ is the ability of a person or system to perform and maintain its functions in routine circumstances, as well as hostile or unexpected circumstances.

Consistency
♥ the property of holding together and retaining its shape; "wool has more body than rayon"; "when the dough has enough consistency it is ready to ...
a harmonious uniformity or agreement among things or parts
logical coherence and accordance with the facts; "a rambling argument that lacked any consistency"
an attribute of a logical system that is so constituted that none of the propositions deducible from the axioms contradict one another

Storage
♥ the act of storing something
storehouse: a depository for goods; "storehouses were built close to the docks"
the commercial enterprise of storing goods and materials
(computer science) the process of storing information in a computer memory or on a magnetic tape or disk
memory: an electronic memory device; "a memory and the CPU form the central part of a computer to which peripherals are attached"
repositing: depositing in a warehouse; "they decided to reposition their furniture in a recommended repository in Brooklyn"; "my car is in storage"; "publishers reduced print runs to cut down the cost of warehousing"
Communications
♥ the activity of communicating; the activity of conveying information; "they could not act without official communication from Moscow"
something that is communicated by or to or between people or groups
a connection allowing access between persons or places; "how many lines of communication can there be among four people?"; "a secret passageway provided communication between the two rooms"

‘The Disadvantages of Using Computers’

· Computers can make the mind lazy. You get used to not reading a book, or researching something at the library... Just a few key-strokes and you have your answer.
· There are physical things like carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetititive strain disorders, and eye strain (often necessitating glasses).
· It takes one away from socializing with others in person.
· Spending too much time playing online games or chatting over the computer instead of reading books, taking walks, and doing homework.
· Being on a computer too much can also lead to anti-social behavior and depression.
· UNEMPLOYMENT

Violation of Privacy
♥ Using computers sometimes violates the privacy of a person. Some people use computers in getting nude videos that leads to pornography. Some said captured sex videos just to earn money and the worst is, innocent people doing sensuality become the victim of the circumstance. It also degrades the dignity o the person.

Health Risks
♥ The health risks posed by computers, if any, are not fully understood and investigative research is always ongoing. Areas of possible health risk include: eye strain/damage, repetitive motion injury to hands, neck/spinal injury, and mental health issues including addiction. There are extremely low levels of RF emission from computers that are not known to constitute a health risk.

Impact on Labor Force

Impact on Environment
♥ E-waste is the only disadvantage I can think of: this is old and/or broken computers, cell phones and other electronic appliances and components. New technology is being developed every day that replaces old technology...old technology and the hardware that came with it ends up as e-waste which contains lots of elements that are toxic to the environment. BUT, the computer has done much more to benefit the environment than harm it: information is sent across the world as electrical signals in stead of using paper as a medium and fossil fuel to carry it across long distances. A faster way of communication and calculation also makes it easier to work on finding environmentally friendly renewable power sources to help fight global warming which is probably the biggest environmental issue right now.
